A series of exercises for photo editing to be carried out in Adobe Photoshop Elements. You can download all you need from this page to include instructions and start images
The exercises are those that I have used for demonstration purposes as part of a series of presentations to groups and organisations. These projects are not for beginners and are suitable for those with experience of using Photoshop Elements, you should have an basic understanding of techniques using layers. If you try them and find them difficult, you might consider taking part in some introductory Photoshop Elements training which I can provide either for small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
Landscape
Take two versions of the same landscape shot setting the camera on a tripod (or make two RAW conversions of the same image). One has an under-exposed landscape foreground and correctly exposed sky, the other has an over exposed sky but correctly exposed foreground. Merge the two images together to product the perfect exposure for dramatic effect.
