"Andrew is honoured by the Royal Photographic Society
It is five years since The Rural Training Centre at Owston opened its doors to the local community for training and when centre manager Andrew Pennill was asked to help a group learn about digital photography he had little idea where it would lead. Not only does the centre now run a huge range of courses on the subject but Andrew himself has now developed a great interest in photography, which has recently culminated in him being awarded one of the Royal Photographic Society's prestigious Distinctions.
Andrew decide to submit a selection to the Royal Photographic Society - an international organisation long recognised for the promotion and maintenance of high photographic standards around the world. In order to gain a distinction, a photogrpaher submits a portfolio for approval by a highly qualified panel of Fellows of the Society. Andrew was successful and has recieved certificate allowing him to use LRPS after his name." Click here to return to the News page
