IT and Photography Training

Andrew Pennill is a qualified teacher, specialising in teaching adults.  Patient and structured in his approach, he is equally at home teaching in a group or one-to-one situation.  Previously manager and principal trainer at the Rural Training Centre, Andrew has helped hundreds of people to improve their IT and photography skills, including many total beginners.  If you want to know how to get online, use email, or generally brush up your skills then Andrew can help you. 
 
 
IT Training
From complete beginners to those with a bit more experience, Andrew can teach you how to use Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook.  You may need to learn how to use Mail Merge, create a set of accounts in Excel or set up your own website at a time convenient to you.  He can also show you how to use your MP3 player or iPod and buy and sell with eBay. 
 
Computer Photo Editing
Learn how to transfer, organize, backup and perform basic editing on your digital images using Picasa 3. In addition our Adobe Photoshop Elements training courses will teach you more advanced editing techniques which will enable you to manipulate your images to another level. If you have ever wanted to remove an obstacle from an image, replace a boring sky or repair your old photo prints, then Adobe Photoshop Elements is for you. More on photography training>>> 
 
Website Training
If you would like to build your own website so that you can take full control of updates as well as layout and content, the Rural Training Centre can show you how, it is easier than you think!  Andrew has helped more than 60 people create their own site. More on web site creation>>>

Photography Training
 
Whether you have a compact camera or an SLR, Andrew can help you make the most of its features and functions to improve your photography.  Get to grips with the basics of your camera, learn how to adjust the settings and compose your photographs to best effect.
 
Training is generally on a one-to-one basis and can involve a photography outing to capture some interesting subjects and put skills into practice.  Occasional group courses are offered.
